SolarBIO’s mission is to bring solar power to all corners of the Philippines. 

SolarBIO was founded to meet the demand for a local provider that can offer a total solution from design, engineering, procurement, construction, operations, and maintenance  including financing solutions. Its founders, Gao Pronove and Sly Natividad, both well-recognized proponents of renewable energy, got together to bring this total solution to the Philippine market.

Atty. Gao Pronove, is the President of SolarBIO and has more than 10 years experience in developing renewable energy projects in the Philippines. Gao worked for the UN Climate Change for more than a decade and was exposed to renewable energy as an environmentalist. When he returned to the Philippines, he began developing biomass and solar projects. Since then, he has developed more than 50MW of solar projects. He now brings this passion and expertise to SolarBIO.

Engineer Sly Natividad is the Chairman of Clean Renewable Energy Solutions Philippines (CRESPHIL), and is the current President of PhilHYDRO, the leading hydropower association in the Philippines. He has developed more than 80MW of hydro projects.
